Michael Kors ( Karl Anderson Jr. on August 9, 1959 in Long Island, New-York) is unquestionably one in a million as it pertains to his involvement in the fashion industry. Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman acquired his models, but things really became popular when he was called Creative Director, and Custom, at French style home Celine in 1997. Kors made a name for himself with what Ny Magazined has referred to as his "creamy up-town items for American women with a yen for magnificent reboots of classics."
