Gucci

Featuring bold components and vivid colors, Gucci has come a long way from its modest origins in Florence, Italy. What started as a tiny leather-goods shop in 1921 has evolved into a global purveyor of luxury handbags, sneakers, jewelry, and apparel. Manufacturer signatures include the bamboo-handled bag, stylish penny loafers, and, naturally, the iconic GG logo.

The Gucci manufacturer works closely with developers and other manufacturers who strive for new and top quality development within the fashion industry. Gucci works closely with all the manufacturers of Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, Boucheron, Sergio Rossi, Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent. It's no surprise that many people think about top quality manner when Italy is described, because the Gucci Empire is rising with influential designers.

Gucci immediately became popular due to the quality of his leather bags. Individuals were willing to pay additional money for quality leather, simply because they realized Gucci was only willing to employ the workers and best artisans he may find.

Red and green trademark was created and copyrighted in the 1950′s. Encouraged by the moccasin and saddle girth, the dressage concept of Gucci continued all through this decade. Guccio died in 1953 and his son Aldo, along with his other sons Vasco, Rodolfo, and Ugo, overran the and led it to massive international success by opening the company’s first boutique in New York. Familial conflicts rippled through the descendants on problems as the operations of the stores and individual as inheritances to corporate decisions.

The 1960′s found Gucci’s part within the international luxury industry develop with shops beginning in Paris, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and throughout the U.S. It had been during this period that they adopted the interlocking G logo that now emblazons most of the style house’s wares, introduced the Flora scarf that would develop into a celebrity favorite, and debuted the Jackie O bag.
During the World War II an iconic bamboo purse handle was born. Gucci wanted to produce something
which resembled humbleness while remaining in high quality since war was a difficult time. Grace Kelly loved the technology therefore much that she was actually paired with the bag for years.
Gucci has received a partnership with UNICEF since 2005.[5] Gucci stores worldwide donate a share of the revenue for special collections made especially for UNICEF to go toward the Un Children’s Fund. The yearly Gucci Campaign to Benefit UNICEF supports training, healthcare, safety and clean water plans for orphans and children suffering from HIV/AIDS in Africa. For the campaign in '09, Michael Roberts promoted a children’s book, “Snowman in Africa” with proceeds likely to UNICEF. In five years, Gucci contributed over $7 million to UNICEF. Gucci may be the largest corporate donor to UNICEF’s “Schools for Africa” that has been founded in 2004 by the Hamburg Society, the Nelson Mandela Foundation, and UNICEF. Its goal will be to improve access to basic schooling for many, with an unique emphasis on children orphaned by HIV/AIDS and children living in extreme poverty.
